In 2016 I developed new processes to make disc records.  Production technologies and physical properties of the early materials were examined and recreated using modern materials.  Diamond Disc recreations will last for several hundred plays and work with Standard, Dance and Edisonic reproducers.   

This auction is for a single-sided reproduction copy of the most famous of all Edison Diamond Discs, 51542 "Charleston".  I've owned many original copies of Charleston and this reproduction is from the cleanest of all copies I've ever found.  It is take "B" and comes from an early stamper, as you can see in the picture of the matrix number.

The front of the disc will be exactly as shown and is identical to the original, the back is unfinished and may show tooling marks as all Diamond Disc reproductions are milled to 1/4" thick +/- 0.015".  The backs are engraved with the year and my name.  

Shipping via media mail with tracking is included for the continental USA.  International shipping is at cost, while USPS is the least expensive method it does not include tracking nor insurance.  If an international buyer chooses USPS shipping then they assume all responsibility.  Please see the USPS website to calculate cost.  UPS or Fedex are also shipped at cost and generally start at $100.
