In 2016 I developed new processes to make disc records.  Production technologies and physical properties of the early materials were examined and recreated using modern materials.  Diamond Disc recreations will last for several hundred plays and work with Standard, Dance and Edisonic reproducers.   

You probably know that Edison's consumer recording business shut down around the same time this song became a hit, so it was never released on Diamond Disc (until now!). This auction is for a single-sided copy of "Puttin' on the Ritz" by Alfredo and his band.  This is a fitting version of this song, as it's the Edison-Bell performance.  Here's one that you can play on your Edison Phonograph, everyone will immediately know the song and you can make up any story you like about where it came from :) 

This is a new disc and the front is mint, the back is unfinished and may show tooling marks as all Diamond Disc reproductions are milled to 1/4" thick +/- 0.015".  The backs are engraved with the year and my name.  

Shipping via media mail with tracking is included for the continental USA.  International shipping is at cost, while USPS is the least expensive method it does not include tracking nor insurance.  If an international buyer chooses USPS shipping then they assume all responsibility.  Please see the USPS website to calculate cost.  UPS or Fedex are also shipped at cost and generally start at $100.
