LAURIE WADE'S CAVALIERS Started out in the early 1960s as a surf group, cutting just one instrumental single for the Linda Lee label, ''The Phantom Guitarist''.

Robert Campbell was replaced by Warren Isaacs when the band signed to the CBS label. Between 1965 and 1967 they cut four excellent singles The style of music changed to beat, but their roots in surf served them well as all the records feature sharp original guitar work.
Their producer at CBS was Sven Libaek, a staff producer from 1963-1968 whose credits included the Atlantics (including “Bombora”) and Lynne Randall. They disbanded in 1968.
