‎– Illuminations Original 1969 USA Stereo issue Gold Vanguard labels
In fantastic condition, nice shine, but with faint marks causing an occasional pop, but not overpowering or ugly, plays with beautiful audio, interspersed with some light imperfections, but there are still large areas of perfection.

Side One is VG, but not too far from VG+. Side Two is VG+

Excellent labels VG sleeve
No lyric sheet.

This is one of those records that make me love what I do... this is the first time I have heard this LP, and I rarely ever bang on about the music, (unless it is Pink Floyd) but this is a discovery for me, and a very welcome discovery.
Beautiful from the start, to the very end, first listen.

Buffy Sainte-Marie (born February 20, 1941 at Piapot Reserve in Saskatchewan, Canada) is a Cree singer-songwriter, musician, composer, visual artist, pacifist, educator, social activist, and philanthropist.

Throughout her career in all of these areas, her work has focused on issues of Indigenous peoples of the Americas. Her singing and writing repertoire includes subjects of love, war, religion, and mysticism. Her music might generally be categorized as folk and traditional music, though she did record one mostly country album, I'm Gonna Be a Country Girl Again, in Nashville.

Some of her other songs have more modern popular sounds. Her work has been covered by such diverse musicians as Elvis Presley, Barbra Streisand, Neil Diamond, Neko Case, Janis Joplin, Chet Atkins, The Indigo Girls and Joe Cocker. She is also responsible for Cradleboard Teaching Project, an educational curriculum devoted to better understanding of Native Americans.

She has won recognition and many awards and honors for both her music and her work in education and social activism.

GOOD
56 to 68
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has deteriorated, but the record will still play through, and it will not be a completely unpleasant listening experience, even at the bottom of this grade (56).
The cover and contents may suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

The record is still playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even stick, skip or jump..
