This is the original 1961 first single by the Beach Boys, before they landed their deal with Capitol Records and became famous. They were still kids living with their parents out at the beach and just starting out at this time, and this single got enough local airplay to attract the attention of Capitol later.
Only available for a short time and only locally in the LA area, this is one of the great Beach Boys rarities and a real piece of rock and roll history.
This copy has some scuffs and marks, but plays really well. I had it ultrasonically cleaned and the scuffs really don't make much sound at all.
It generally plays E, with only a tiny bit of background noise noticeable mainly at the beginning and end before and after the music, but when the music plays you really don't hear anything.
