John Coltrane Quartet Coltrane 1967 Stereo Repress Impulse! AS-21 VG+/VG+
For auction is a great listeners copy of Coltrane by the John Coltrane Quartet. Originally released in 1962, the album was Coltrane’s second on the Impulse! label and ninth studio album overall. This copy is a 1967 stereo repress.
Vinyl is play graded VG+. A couple of extremely light visible surface marks. Not close to being deep and can not be felt. Plays with the faintest of background noise if any that is barely noticeable. Sounds amazing! Please see pics.
Laminated gatefold cover is also in VG+ condition. Mild shelf wear on corners. The front lamination is a little peeled along the top and there is a scratch mark on right lower side of front. All the seams are perfect and the title is completely legible. There is light ring wear on back. Super solid and looks great! Original Impulse! inner is in VG condition. Small split on bottom seam and a few creases. Micron/rice paper high quality inner is included to protect vinyl. Please see pics.
