Aerosmith Lot of 3 LPs Self Titled, Get Your Wings And Permanent Vacation.

For auction is a lot of 3 albums by the Boston hard rockers, Aerosmith. They have sold more than 150 million records worldwide and over 70 million in the US making Aerosmith the best-selling American hard rock band of all time. In 2001 they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and in 2013, lead singer, Steven Tyler, and guitarist, Joe Perry were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Aerosmith The bands self titled debut released in 1973. Features there breakthrough hit and signature song, “Dream On” along with the classic, “Mama Kin”. This copy is a 1976 Pitman Press reissue. Vinyl is play graded VG. Some light visible surface marks. Plays with the faintest of background noise if any that is never overwhelming. No skips or jumps. Cover is in G+ condition. Has seen better days and has significant shelf wear. Corners are rough and all seams are taped. Ring wear and creases on both sides. Despite all this, the cover is solid and still protects record. A very good listeners copy!

Get Your Wings Aerosmith’s second studio album released in 1974. Originally not a commercial success, the record has gained popularity over time and now is considered the album that introduced the “Aerosmith sound”. Contains the now classics, “Same Old Song and Dance” and “Pandora’s Box”. This copy is a 1st DMM Press. Vinyl is play graded VG. Several light visible surface marks. Plays with the faintest of background noise that is never overwhelming. No skips or jumps. Cover is in VG- condition. Shelf wear on corners and seams. Tape on title edge and both corners on bottom seam. Title is mostly legible. Ring wear and scuffs on both sides. A very good listeners copy.

Permanent Vacation The bands ninth studio album released in August 1987. After a decade long drug addiction, the members of Aerosmith struggled to get clean which hampered the bands success and diminished its popularity. By the end of 1986 all of them completed rehab and have been clean ever since. As a result this next album became Aerosmith’s biggest success is over 10 years. Considered the bands comeback album, Permanent Vacation spawned three top 20 hits, “Rag Doll”, “Angel” and “Dude (Looks Like A Lady)”. The album has sold over 5 million copies in the US alone. This copy is a 1st press that has a promo stamp on front cover. Vinyl is play graded VG+. A few visible surface marks on side 1 that are superficial. Plays with barely any background noise and there are no skips or jumps. Cover is in VG condition. Shelf wear on corners and seams but no splits. Title is completely legible. Original inner with band photo and lyrics is also in VG condition and usable. No splits. A great listeners copy.
