RECORD: VG (strong)

NOTES: Possibly unknown college folk LP from around 1966. This is NOT folk psych, but more like well-done Kingston Trio influenced folk. Cover has some seam wear with splits of several inches to both top and bottom seams; also small stain on back. Record plays quite well. Recorded in Charlotte, NC

GRADES: SEALED, NM, EXC, VG+, VG, VG-, G, FAIR, POOR.

I grade strictly under bright light. My highest grade for an unsealed record is NM (NEAR MINT) - a record must look like new to be graded NM! An EXC record will show only slight signs of prior play. A VG+ is a solid used record that should play well but has minor visual flaws. A VG has more obvious flaws BUT is not trashed. Records graded VG- or worse will often play much better than they look.
