Madonna Lot 3 Original LPs Self Titled, Like A Virgin, True Blue All VG+

For auction is a lot of 3 original albums by the “Queen of Pop”, Madonna. She is considered one of the most influential artists in popular culture and has become an icon and legend in music. She is the best selling female music artist of all time certified by Guinness World Records with over 300 million records sold worldwide. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2008. Madonna Her self titled debut that was released in 1983. Was a critical and commercial success. Features the singles, “Everybody”, “Lucky Star”, “Borderline”, “Burning Up” and “Holiday”. It has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide. It is considered one of the best records of the 80s. This copy is a 1st press Club Edition from Columbia House. The vinyl is play graded VG+. No visible surface marks. Plays through with no skips or jumps but has the occasional background noise static that LPs pressed in the 80s often do. Never overwhelming. Cover is also in VG+ condition. In shrink but has mild shelf wear on corners. Shrink is torn on back. Original inner with photo and lyrics is in VG condition. Has one split so poly/rice paper inner used to protect vinyl. A great listeners copy!

Like A Virgin Released in 1984, Madonna’s second album was an even bigger success than her debut. Selling more than 21 million copies worldwide and produced several major hits. The title track was Madonna’s first #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and “Material Girl” reached #2. According to many critics, those two songs made Madonna the icon she is and this album is the one that gave her the crown as the “Queen of Pop”. Also featured on the album are the classics, “Angel” and “Dress You Up”. This copy is a 1st press Club Edition from Columbia House. The vinyl is play graded VG+. No visible surface marks. Plays through with no skips or jumps but has the occasional background noise static that LPs pressed in the 80s often do. Never overwhelming. Cover is in EX condition. Still in shrink with the mildest of shelf wear on corners. Shrink has a small rip on back on lower right corner. Original inner with photo and lyrics is included but a poly/rice paper inner is used to protect vinyl. Another great listeners copy!

True Blue Her third album released in 1986 was an an immediate global success that surpassed even Like A Virgin. The five singles released on the album, “True Blue”, “Open Your Heart”, “Live To Tell”, “Papa Don’t Preach” and “La Isla Bonita”, all hit #1 on the charts in either the US or UK. The title track did it in both markets. The album reached #1 in a then record-breaking 28 countries and has gone on to sell more than 25 million copies worldwide making it one of the best-selling albums of all time. This copy is a 1st Specialty Press. Vinyl is play graded VG+. There are no visible surface marks but there is a slight warp. It does not affect playback and the album plays through with no background noise, skips or jumps. Would be EX if not for the warp. The cover is in NM condition. In shrink with no shelf wear. There are two price stickers and hype sticker on front. Original inner included but a poly/rice paper is used to protect vinyl. Poster insert is in VG+ condition. Yet another great listeners copy!
