Al Green(e) Back Up Train 1967 Debut In Shrink Reissue EX.
For auction is an excellent copy of Al Green's debut, Back Up Train. Released by Hot Line Records in 1967, a small independent label started by Green's high school friends. It is the only album of his that uses the real spelling of his last name with an "e" at the end. This copy is a contemporary reissue probably from 2017, the 50th anniversary of the original release.
Vinyl is play graded Excellent. There are no surface marks and the record plays flawlessly with no background noise, skips or jumps. Not mint because it has been opened and not NM because I am not the original owner and honestly don't know how many times it has been played. I only grade NM if I bought new and know how many times the album has been played. Regardless it's a beautiful copy. Please see pics.
The cover is also in Excellent condition. Still in shrink and has no signs of shelf wear. EX and not NM because there is a peeled price sticker on the front, top, under the "Stereo". Please see pics.
