Job Lot: 9 x 7" Vinyl Singles. Collection of nine singles by Traffic, Joyce Bond, Jethro Tull and Fairport Convention on the Island Pink / Pink Rim labels. They are in mixed condition but most are in excellent condition, remarkable for vinyl that are over sixty years old. Two are very good and one, Record 8, ("Medicated Goo") is little more than a filler (Please see detailed descriptions). Two sleeves are original pink Island company sleeves, two are supplied with their original, scarce picture sleeves in a very good condition, four are in new reproduction sleeves. All are original first issues. All singles are supplied in a new white plain paper sleeve and protective polythene cover.

Aurally: Excellent +. Plays perfectly. Sleeve Condition: The vinyl is supplied with an original generic Island pink company die-cut sleeve. Very good. Some general wear and light wear to the open edge. Some writing in ink on sleeve. The vinyl is also housed in a new plain white paper sleeve and a new protective polythene cover. Just a little evidence of use and slight surface wear. Aurally: Excellent +. Plays perfectly. Sleeve Condition: The vinyl is supplied with a reproduction generic Island pink company die-cut sleeve. Year: 1969 Matrix No: WIPX1010 WIPX1011 Issue: Original. Black Block. Pressing: U.K. Four prong centre. Genre: Progressive Rock. Vinyl Condition: Visually: Very Good -. There are quite a lot innocuous very light, wispy surface scratches and some small light scuffs and blemishes and a few slightly more prominent marks. Aurally: Very Good. Generally plays better than it looks. Side 1: There is some audible crackle and surface noise at the beginning which clears quickly although there are still a few isolated pops and light ticks diminishing throughout the track and finishes well. Side 2: Crackles over the run-in and into the beginning of the track. A few isolated ticks and pops throughout but diminishing finishing well. Sleeve Condition: The vinyl is supplied with a new reproduction Island pink company die-cut sleeve. The vinyl is also housed in a new plain white paper sleeve and a new protective polythene cover. Liner Condition: N/A. Label Condition: Excellent. Former owners initials in biro on side 1. Some grubbiness and evidence of use. Paper label.

There is one innocuous, small, light mark at the beginning of side 2 on a near perfect vinyl. Aurally: Excellent +. Plays perfectly. Sleeve Condition: The vinyl is supplied with its scarce original picture sleeve. Nice condition for its age. Slight grubbiness and very light creasing to the top right corner. Year: 1967 Matrix No: A2/B2 Issue: Original first issue. Bullseye. Solid centre. Rough label. Pressing: U.K. Genre: Progressive Rock, Psychedelic Rock. Vinyl Condition: Visually: Very Good. There are quite a few (mainly innocuous) very light marks and a few that are a bit heavier. Aurally: Excellent -. Plays well. Side 1: Some surface crackle at the beginning clearing quite quickly and hardly a blemish from then on. Side 2: A few light ticks but generally plays excellently. There is a little crackle at the end. Sleeve Condition: The vinyl is supplied with a scarce original picture sleeve. Good +. The sides of the cover are seam split all the way down to the fold at the bottom. Former owners name is written in biro at the top right of the front. There are some brown residue from some old sellotape that has been removed (or fallen off). The vinyl is also housed in a new plain white paper sleeve and a new protective polythene cover. Year: 1968 Matrix No: A2/B1 Issue: Original first issue. Bullseye. Three prong centre. Pressing: U.K. Genre: Progressive Rock, Psychedelic Rock. Vinyl Condition: Visually: Poor. Damage to both sides. Side 1: There are several deep scratches and marks which can be felt with the fingertips. Side 2: Much as side one. There are several heavy scratches which can be felt with a fingertip. Aurally: Plays a bit better than it looks, at least fair maybe on the minus side of good. I would normally not list a vinyl in this condition but it is a first pressing and fairly scarce title and is a bit better than just a filler - too good to throw but below collectable standard. Side 1: Begins with just some pops and ticks. There are a couple of heavier pops. There is also a click at the start of the guitar solo and persists for half-a-dozen revolutions. Side 2: Click at the beginning for seven revolutions which corresponds to a scratch mark. A few revolutions later there is another click, a little heavier over the next ten revolutions. From there on there are a few ticks and pops and a rasp and single groove jump in the middle. From then on there are just a few ticks and pops through to the end. Sleeve Condition: There is no original sleeve. The vinyl is housed in a new plain white paper sleeve and a new protective polythene cover. Liner Condition: N/A. Label Condition: Excellent. Clean.
