this is a 45 year old vinyl record....Near Mint impossible to find 

the Private Stock copies were on sale in UK only a few weeks before Chrysalis records paid 500,000 USD dollars for Blondies contract .....wow

after the second LP `Plastic Letters` was released Chrysalis Introduced them to Mike Chapman who produced their Platinum selling `Parallel Lines` the 3rd albulm and one of new waves US punk bands went to enormous mainstream success on bith side of the Atlantic.

The record and sleeve Near Mint been kept in vinyl protection sleeve for many years with card stiffener.

this is the number 1 Label Version with `no emi ` on the label version PVLP 1017

Released December 1976

2, then an `emi` records both on Private Stock, soon after 3, Chrysalis `Green` label then the familiar 4, Chrysalis blue label.

really nice final upgrade for someone and a great debut from one of rocks `Female fronted pioneer acts`

Madonna famously later said `without Blondie` there would have been no Madonna....  

recorded in 1976 Blondie toured UK and came back to a following with a great reception in UK. SUMMER 77 `Denis` was a relase on 45rpm and interest soared here in the debut albulm.

these PS copies have great audio and are nice quality pressings.

The Record

 

Near Mint Copy with light surface hairlines from sleeve removal only , some light lines on label only this has not been played too often,nice clean copy, slight static and a little surface noise on intros nothing to disrupt the enjoyment of this great debut albulm.

The Sleeve

Near Mint 

 in great shape from storage in its pvc protection for many years , has only light removal on opening side 3 corners clean no bends, 1 has slight bend see photos, real time capsule from almost 46 years ago. sleeve is holding up superb Near Mint , would be mint apart from 1 corner in pic,

its almost impossible to find in mint or or near mint now.
