Boston Self-Titled Debut Reissue VG+/VG.
For auction is a great listeners copy of the self-titled debut of American rock band, Boston. Released in August 1976, Boston was a huge commercial success.
It broke sales records and became the best selling debut LP in the US at the time. It peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200 and spawned three top 40 hits with “More Than A Feeling” (#5), “Long Time” (#22) and “Peace Of Mind” (#38). The entire album now is considered a rock classic and an early example of power pop and arena rock. All tracks still get regular air play on classic rock radio stations. Boston is one of the best selling albums ever with over 20 million copies sold worldwide, 17 million alone in the US. This copy is a an early 80s reissue based on the Epic label design.
Vinyl is play graded VG+. A few light visible surface marks that are superficial. Slight storage warp that does not affect playback. Plays with faint background noise if any. No skips or jumps. Please see pics.
Cover is in VG condition. Shelf wear on corners and seams but no splits. Bottom has started to become unglued. Title is legible. Some small creases along all the edges on both sides. Ring wear and scuffing on front and back. Super solid and protects vinyl. Please see pics.
