 Vinyl Grading

Near Mint - No blemishes whatsoever, unplayed.

Excellent - Nearly perfect, not quite Mint but would be if only for the faintest scuffs.  Do not notice any surface noise on playback.

Very Good+ - Records in this grade will have few, if any light sleeve marks or light light scratches, nothing that is deep or that can be felt. Very minimal surface noise only noticeable between tracks or quieter passages. Nothing that takes away from the music.

Very Good - Some surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but it will not overpower the music.  Groove wear will start to be noticeable and may have light scratches that will affect the sound.

Very Good- - Will have many more marks, scratches, will have background noise/ticks/pops, but not completely distracting.

Good/Fair/Poor - These records will definitely show wear and tear, occasional ticks/pops/may have skips. Background noise will be very evident.

                                         Sleeve Grading

Near Mint - Should look really nice, near new. Should show almost no wear. No tears or creases

VG+ - Should look good with only faint/minor wear. May have some minor creases but no tears.

VG - Should still look pretty good, but slightly more pronounced wear, and possibly some creases and minor tears

GD/FR/PR- These are all varying degrees of beat up.  Significant wear, wear, creases and tears.
