Not just one of the Rolling Stones' greatest albums on LP, but simply one of the greatest rock & roll albums ever recorded. This is a 1971 US (PR) 1st Pressing of Sticky Fingers (COC 59100 - 1841 B'Way - ST-RS-712189 PR/ST-RS-712190 PR Rolling Stones Records). The wax is GOOD+. You will find a plentitude of markings on both sides, run your hand across them and notice nothing feelable. The record has been tested on two high quality turntables and the only discernible "issue" is a bit of surface noise, more so on side b than a. Otherwise this is the way to hear it, on wax it just has more of a raw, human quality. The CD masters sound way too polished, as do some of the later LP reissues. The sleeve is intact and yes, the zipper still functions! You will find some chipping and sticker residue present. A touch of creasing and rub wear, too. The fabric which anchors the zipper has peeled away just a tad at the top from the glue it was once affixed to. Some castoff glue is present. Castoff image of the zipper appears on the Warhol Underwear pic. Some indentations also appear on the rear portion of the sleeve. So, same grading for the sleeve. G+.
