The Red Herring Bootleg Album, Folk Music from the Red Herring Coffee House Urbana Illinois - LP 1970, Early Dan Fogelberg and Many Others, Rofran Enterprises
This LP is from the estate of Al Ierardi, who purchased the recording studio from Rofran Enterprises and operated it under the name "Tape Factory" in the early 70's. This copy is not sealed, most likely left over from the first pressing and played once to test, but I cannot guarantee this since I do not have the business records and do not know if additional pressings were made. The cover is intact, but a bit tired from being in storage for over 50 years. There is ring-wear on the cover as you can see in the photo, and some wear on one corner. LP was produced by Pete Berkow, recorded by Rofran Studios in Urbana Illinois, pressed at Century Records. Selections as follows:
Side 1: 1. Subtunnel Blues - 2:05 - Traditional 2. Party Man - 2:42 - Pete Lippincott 3. For Mary Ann - 2:41 - Steve Melshenker 4. Time For You To Go - 4:28 - Les Urban (with Steve Cowan and Patti Staton)
5. Etre - 1:42 - Judy Spratlin 6. Silent Majority - 3:49 - Nancy Fetters 7. Rhythm of Winter and Fall - 5:16 - Pete Berkow (with Dan Fogelberg)
Side 2: 1. Morning Grey - 4:54 - Steve Cowan (with Dan Fogelberg) 2. Looking For a Lady - 2:38 - Dan Fogelberg 3. Notes From London, July 11 - 2:41 - Lou Kotva 4. Like an Eagle - 3:14 - Larry Basil 5. Carry The Light - 4:37 - Steve Reinwand and Mark Hamby 6. McClean County - 2:32 - Kathi Bennett 7. Beneath a Hoosier Moon - 2:58 - Anonymous, Performed by the Red Herring Friday the 13th Crowd
