This first *ICONIC 1971 UK Vertigo* estimated sold only around 50,000 in 71  how many are left...

This one has solid punchy audio on this 1971 recording great nice flat 70s pre oil crisis vinyl with no warping or other worrying faults... 

This is from my own collection, I am not a dealer, in the next few months I am selling off part of my collection, some collectable and rarities, no filler! Thanks for looking!

 not available in this format in USA and Canada! where it went gold and later platinum founding the bones of *stoner rock* Nirvanna famously cite this album as *the one* a real time piece and collectors find. growing in value and a great listen!  recorded at island studios London in early 71.

so what here you get the better quality *lower volume* UK pressings on thick 70s vinyl and the Iconic UK Black and White Vertigo *Swirl* label.

The labels are free of writing this has been stored for many many years

EX condition on this 1970 1st Pressing 636050-1Y1 and 636050-2Y1,

vinyl copy Ex

vinyl has some lines no skips has light surface lines, few light removal scuffs, see photos, stored upright in PVC jacket for many years examined under strong light, a finders copy with Nr Ex cover and quality repro poster!

plays incredible with some background noise could benefit from a professional clean, we don't do this its a personal thing. some light static ticks in the intros and quieter passages into *Solitude* but the overall volume of the music is easily enjoyable on the soon to be 50 year old, super shiny clean fat pre oil crisis 70s vinyl (see pics) great swirl labels...

"Swirl" inner is repro pretty faithful to the original see photos 

 box has only light rounding at corners , no splits or tears to worry about. box sleeve has a card inside to keep rigid.

Nr Ex Condition 

Nice original Box sleeve  incredible original 1971  `Embossed Box cover` super rare now "high gloss laminate finish" a real find with almost zero ringwear to rear, no writing stickers or tape to report. hard to find in decent condition. This one has some wear and light laminate creasing see photos no rips or tears.

the top opening cover normally suffers this one is in decent order with no serious damage, only some laminate creases and light lift on opening flaps as normal with this box sleeve, we put a card stiffener inside the box to help preserve shape. see photos.

 its got some storage wear but in good order for almost 50 years! a Nr EX

no writing stickers or tape to report. no serious worrying faults....

 the reproduction poster is really nice quality clear clean and not a lot of handling evident, truly a collectors find. no holes, tape or writing and no worrying faults a great sleeve that is  *NR Excellent *  the laminate has light creases its  Nr Ex a nice rare box cover not too flattened like many. we store with card inside to maintain shape.

Plays without any skips or jumps, amazing bass on this , may benefit from a professional clean (we don't do this as it's an individual thing) background static is noticeable in the quieter passages and some static in places nothing to disrupt playing no sticks or jumps on our Rega 3.
