You are bidding on a Vinyl 3 LP set featuring George Harrison (of the Beatles) on his masterpiece solo album, “All Things Must Pass.”   The LP was issued on the Beatles’ “Apple Label.” We were big Beatles (and George) fans back in the day, and we purchased this LP when it was first released. This appears to be an original 1970 pressing. We will describe the condition below, but we loved the LP and played it a lot.  BTW .... This set was issued with the "Red Apple" label.

This 3 LP set contains two studio albums, along with a third “Bonus” LP containing two full sides of jamming. As George had previously been limited to one or two of his songs on Beatles albums, he had quite a back log of high quality songs ready and available for this album.

The LP’s are in VG+ condition, especially considering the age.  However, a younger (and more foolish) version of myself wrote his name on the label of each of the three LP’s approximately 50 years ago.  (See pictures)  There is no poster that apparently came with some copies of this LP.

There is some wear around the LP cover/Box corners, and there is some fading (from age; 50+ years!) but the LP cover is otherwise in very nice condition.  Please remember that this album was well taken care of, but it was played as part of our record collection decades ago.

“George Harrison:  All Things Must Pass”

“All Things Must Pass is the third studio album by English rock musician . Released as a  in November 1970, it was Harrison's first solo work after  in April that year. It includes the hit singles "" and "", as well as songs such as "" and  that had been overlooked for inclusion on releases by . The album reflects the influence of Harrison's musical activities with artists such as , ,  and  during 1968–70, and his growth as an artist beyond his supporting role to former bandmates  and . All Things Must Pass introduced Harrison's signature  sound and the spiritual themes present throughout his subsequent solo work. The original vinyl release consisted of two  of songs and a third disc of informal jams titled . Several commentators interpret 's album cover photo, showing Harrison surrounded by four garden gnomes, as a statement on his independence from the Beatles.”

“Quite possibly the best solo album among all the solo albums recorded by all other Beatles. This is an epic triple album masterpiece that contains mostly spiritually themed reflections. It is amazing just how many songs George Harrison had in his vault. Many of these songs are easily as good as anything on White Album or Abbey Road or Let It Be. Introspective lyrics, beautiful bluesy guitars and pianos (Eric Clapton and Nicky Hopkins were also there:)), hook-filled songs are all set to Phil Spector's "wall of sound" production - which actually makes the album even more grandiose and powerful but in no way pretentious. George really found the perfect balance here. In later albums, George lost this balance - compromising music for message that seriously bordered on pretentious and banal preaching. But this was his finest hour and he totally delivers. George perfectly streams his authentic inner spirituality through some of the finest gospel tinged music. I can't even get into the individual tracks here as there are too many of them and all are brilliant. Maybe the third disc can get a bit boring with "apple jams" - but the first two discs are stunning. The best solo Beatle album in my book.”
