Bob Weir Ace 1973 Repress Burbank Label Grateful Dead VG/VG.
For auction is a very good listeners copy of Ace by American guitarist and songwriter, Bob Weir. This was the solo debut of the Grateful Dead founder that was released in May 1972. Although considered a solo record, the other members of the Dead backed Weir on the album. Also, most of the songs became popular at the bands live shows. Features on Ace are, “Playing In The Band”, “Mexicali Blues”, “Cassidy” and “One More Saturday Night.” This copy is a 1973 repress with Warner Bros. Burbank labels.
Vinyl is play graded VG. Some light visible surface marks. Side 1 has more than side 2 but nothing is deep that can be felt. Plays with mild background noise at times that is never overwhelming. No skips or jumps. Please see pics.
Cover is also in VG condition. There is shelf wear on corners and seams but no splits. Title is legible. Original Warner Bros. inner sleeve is included but a generic white die-cut one is used to protect vinyl. Please see pics.
Good luck bidding and thank you for looking!!
