Product Description
This is an Enhanced CD, which contains both regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files.
Glassjaw: Daryl Palumbo (vocals); Justin Beck, Todd Weinstock (guitar); Dave Allen (bass); Larry Gorman (drums).
WORSHIP AND TRIBUTE was nominated for the 2003 Grammy Awards For Best Recording Package.
Hailing from the wilds of Long Island, Glassjaw find themselves continuing to rewrite the rules of aggro-rock with their major label debut WORSHIP AND TRIBUTE. Once again aided and abetted by uber-nu metal producer Ross Robinson, this hard-hitting quintet changes gears on the turn of a dime and can go from the brutal assault of "Pink Roses" to the moodier rumblings of ""Must've Run All Day" with its ethereal keyboard washes. With guitarists Justin Beck and Todd Weinstock providing the firepower, Glassjaw proves more than the equal of any of their more well established peers, whether on the swirling maelstrom that is "M.U. Empire" or the heavy grooves that permeate "Cosmopolitan Bloodloss."
Frontman Daryl Palumbo has the chops to either keep up with the breakneck pace fueling the insistent "Radio Cambodia" or make like Joe Jackson on the far mellower and melodic "Ape Dos Mil." There's even a System Of A Down-like utilization of unorthodox time changes within the epic bars of "The Gillette Cavalcade Of Sports." Glassjaw are poised to turn the world of new metal on its collective head.
