Lou Reed - Transformer - LSP-4807 - (VG) - very glossy, light scuffs - (1972)
1972 US Indianapolis press with "BPRS-7038 5S A I I" in runout and orange RCA label.
Both sides of both albums are strong VG...close to VG+ with some faint sleeve scuffs and hairlines all around. Side 1 has a few red colored tiny spots that didn't come off during the cleaning. They cause tiny pops but the needle keeps moving forward. It also has a slight storage warp but the needle rides through.
Playback is VG...close to VG+. There are a few pops and clicks in the soft parts but it's mostly clean.
Overall decent player copy.
Sleeve is in fair/poor condition. It has a slight musty smell.
This record plays with some surface noise.
Record was cleaned using a spin clean washer, air dried, then put in an anti-static sleeve.
Ratings are subjective so more detailed pics can be sent per request. This is not a perfect album but certainly good for listening if you don't mind slight surface noise during the quiet parts. Sold as is - no returns.
