Collin Walcott, Don Cherry, Naná Vasconcelos was Codona and was active from 1978 until Walcott passed away in 1984. They released three albums on ECM: Codona (ECM 1132), Codona 2 (ECM 1177) and Codona 3 (ECM 1243). The project's name is composed by the first two letters of name of each one of them.
