You are bidding on a Vinyl Release of The B-52’s second LP, “Wild Planet.” This album was originally released in 1980, and our research indicated that the item for sale, (A Canadian Release) is an original 1980 Release.  This LP contains the tracks “Quiche Lorraine” “Private Idaho,” among others.  

The LP is in Excellent condition;  it looks great. The LP cover is in Excellent condition; most of the corners look great, although there are some corners that show some wear.  There is a “cutout notch” in the bottom left of the front cover.  (See Photos). 

This item has been stored at room temperature, in a smoke free home.  Please see photos of actual item being sold.

“So they say that the sophomore projects are usually the hardest and not equal to the freshman package. HOWEVER, this is so not true. The B-52's seemingly kept the energy up and very fresh. This collection of music is like a large frat party gone wild. Ricky Wilson had a way to get into the groove with his guitar playing. His signature style of guitar playing gets you up off your fanny to dance all night long. I have many times danced all night long to this album.”.

“Like some others (maybe the minority), I prefer Wild Planet to their debut album (which is my second favorite and solid in its own right). I find WP to be more consistent from start to finish though. Every song is a gem and it is a little bit more gritty and raw which comes across as more authentic and endearing to me. Less of a super-well polished studio creation and more like a group of musicians grooving together and building synergy through their chemistry. One of my favorite rhythm sections on any album especially the drums. If I was forced to take one of their albums and leave the rest behind, I would choose Wild Planet. Highly recommended”.
