"Country Music Time"--USAF Radio Program--Willie Nelson

Original US Air Force Public Service Program radio transcription disc, Programs Nr. 423 and 424, sides as follows: A side: Willie Nelson, performing Mr. Record Man, Hello Walls, Funny How Time Slips Away, The Night Life, and The Family Bible. Broadcast date 19 July 1965. B side: Roy Drusky, performing Anymore, Strangers, Yesterday, Country Music All Around The World, and Peel Me A Nanner. Broadcast date 20 July 1965 [dates written in ink on both sides]. Playing surface has quite a few scuffs and scratches with corresponding background noise, but no cracks or other damage to record itself.
Disc was part of a series of regular radio programs sponsored by the Air Force [in this case, the Air Force Recruiting Service] which ran from the early 1960s well into the mid 1980s. This one is particularly interesting in that [1] all the Willie tunes were written by Willie himself and were major hits for him and/or other country artists, and [2] Willie was a USAF veteran himself, having served two years during the Korean War. Despite the wear, still a nice piece for any Willie Nelson fan or collector of these military transcription discs and is in Good [G] condition. Any questions please feel free to ask.
