VERY RARE Jimi Hendrix "Flyer", April 1970 ORIGINAL RELEASE 1969 studio jam Lp, plus "Pipe Dream", Live 1967 Lp.
"Flyer" was allegedly released in Jamaica in April of 1970 and limited to a few thousand copies. Some of those included several pieces of Black Panther advertisements/propaganda, which this album in particular lacks. The front cover note originally stated "This Flyer is for the man who walked into a pad at Woodstock, raised his axe and talk to the people around him, and they talked together", but is mostly missing, although what remains is clearly legible. The album itself features 4 loose studio jams, recorded in September 1969 at Shokan House near Woodstock. 1 single jam dominates the whole first side, while 3 shorter pieces take up side two. The jams featured unknown Welsh pianist Mike Ephron with Juma Sultan on flute and percussion and Jerry Velez also on percussion. The vinyl itself is in "Very Good" condition. Some consider it a "Holy Grail" of Jimi albums.
