Echo Mysterieux – Une Voix 1974 Self Release LP Plays VG+. Rare Religious Compas. Hand cleaned, play tested VG+ or better with some more surface noise on Side B than Side A (which basically has none). The music is amazing! They are singing in French and guessing from the titles, singing about Jesus, but the music and the singing are beautiful! Laid back in a soul, lounge, Frafisa (sounding) organ, early synth and horns style with simple guitar and a sympathetic rhythm accompaniment. Album has definitely been played with some scuffs and the like, but plays remarkably well. Sounds great for a self press with very full bass, nice top end and a good mix in a lounge, soul, self release. Their instrumental version of "Amazing Grace" is simply sublime. This is like finding and listening to an undiscovered and rare soul album from the 70's. Album Jacket is thin carboard with tape on the top and bottom. Comes with new, anti-static, rounded LP sleeve. Album hand cleaned with Tergikleen (used by the Library of Congress), Kimtech Wipes (Low Lint, Anti Static), Distilled Water and Brushed with an Anti-Static Brush. Please see all pics for condition.
