I bought this LP new in February 1980.

Cover - Gatefold, so no shrink.  Cutout slit in spine, near top.  Corners have paper wear, but not big bumps.  Very little other handling evidence.  No cardboard splits except for cutout slit in spine.

Vinyl - Some rubbing, smudging, light marks.  Nothing that affects play.  The labels have 1976 on them.  They also have printing around the perimeter indicating the vinyl was pressed in Canada.

Sleeve - Clear plastic.

I bought this in the month after my only trip to Jamaica.  A record provides some of the memory stimulation.  Reggae was the soundtrack and background sound for the whole 2 weeks.

This is Bunny Wailer’s first solo album.  Well, not solo, having a large number of his friends on board.  I can’t explain Reggae music, I just remember the overall sound that permeated my time on the island.  This album was and is a forceful reminder of a wonderful trip.

I can’t figure out who pressed this.  There are the 1S and 2S that CAN indicate the Columbia Santa Maria site.  But the pressing ring size is 69mm for that site.  Maybe Santa Maria did the metalwork and sent it out to a Canadian pressing plant.  Or maybe everything was done in Canada.

Anyhow, this is a superb album, and the cover is a lyric-filled bonus.
