John Lee Hooker "This is Hip" Collection on Charly R&B, distributed by MoviePlay Portuguese.

A great John Lee Hooker collection of songs recorded in the 50s and 60s for Vee Jay Records. "Dimples," "Big Legs, Tight Skirt," "Blues Before Sunrise," and of course "This is Hip" among others. This record is a little bit of a rarity stateside.

From my personal collection, but I am not the original owner. I purchased this record used in the early 2000s and have listened to it many times. TESTED and PLAYS GREAT. Vinyl shows signs of age, handling and wear. There are some hisses and pops that are hardly noticeable when the music is playing but present when the needle drops. The inner sleeve is one of those flimsy plastic things that I personally hate. I will include a more practical paper sleeve. The original plastic one is very wrinkled. The cover shows it's age. There are wrinkles, dents, scratches, ringwear, discoloration and a large crease on the bottom left corner. Please see photos. Overall, good condition.

I grade conservatively. I ship within 5 days. Stored in a smoke-free home but not a pet-free home. I have cats :)
