Led Zeppelin Physical Graffiti 2x LP 1978 Reissue Die Cut w/Insert VG/VG.

For auction is a very good listeners copy of Physical Graffiti by British rock legends, Led Zeppelin. The band’s sixth studio album released as a double LP in February 1975. It was their first under the band’s own newly established label, Swan Song Records. Upon its release, Physical Graffiti was a huge critical and commercial success globally. It was a Top-10 record in 11 countries, peaking at #1 in three, including the UK and the US on the Billboard 200. The record includes 8 new songs that were written specifically for the album and 7 others that were outtakes from their previous ones. The only track released as a single was “Trampled Under Foot” and it just cracked the Top-40 by peaking at #38 on the Billboard Hot 100. Despite this, many others, became concert stables and are now considered classics that are often played on classic rock radio. This includes, “Custard Pie”, “In My Time of Dying”, “Houses of the Holy”, “Kashmir”, “In The Light”, “Ten Years Gone” and “The Wonton Song”. Physical Graffiti is considered by many the album where the band reached their creative peak and therefore included in many best of lists. In 2020, it ranked #144 on Rolling Stone’s list of 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. Physical Graffiti has sold over 9 million copies worldwide, 8 million alone in the US, certifying it 16x platinum. This copy is a 1978 reissue pressed by Monarch Pressing.

Vinyl is play graded VG. Both records have some visible surface marks but nothing deep that can be felt. They both play with mild background noise at times that is never overwhelming. Neither disc has any skips or jumps. Please see pics.

The top loading die-cut cover is also in VG condition. There is shelf wear consisting of scuffing and peeling on the corners and seams but no splits. The top open edge has wear. Insert with information is included as well as two original cardboard inner sleeves. Vinyl is housed in generic white inners for its protection. Please see pics.
