Thelonious Monk w/John Coltrane At Carnegie Hall 1st Press 200g Mono 2005 LP EX.
For auction is an excellent listeners copy of The Thelonious Monk Quartet w/John Coltrane At Carnegie Hall. It was recorded live at the famous NYC venue on November 29, 1957 at the “Thanksgiving Jazz” benefit concert. The tapes were locked and hidden in the Library of Congress until discovered in 2005. They were then restored and the album was released in September of that year. Record is pressed on 200 gram vinyl and comes in its original clear bag.
Vinyl is play graded EX. A few extremely light visible surface marks that are purely superficial. Plays with faint background noise if any. No skips or jumps. Please see pics.
Gatefold cover is also in EX condition. Barely any signs of shelf wear except one tiny crease on the back along the title edge. Would be NM otherwise. Vinyl is housed in an anti-static non scratching inner sleeve. Please see pics.
