Enya Watermark 1989 1st US Press Geffen GHS-24233 VG/VG+.

For auction is a very good listeners copy of Watermark by Irish singer, songwriter and musician, Enya. The Celtic artists second studio album released in September 1988 in most of world but not in the US until January 1989. It was was a critical and commercial success globally giving Enya international fame. It topped the charts in New Zealand and Switzerland, and was a Top-10 record in eight other countries, including the UK where it peaked at #5. In the US it reached #25 on the Billboard 200. It features the global hit, “Orinoco Flow” that charted in 19 countries and peaked at #24 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US. The album also features the singles, “Evening Falls…” and “Storms In Africa”. Watermark has sold 11 million copies worldwide and has been certified 4x platinum in the US selling 4 million copies alone. This copy is a 1st US press.

Vinyl is play graded VG. There are a few barely visible surface marks. Plays with mild background noise at times but never overwhelming. Most apparent at the beginning of each side. No skips or jumps. Please see pics.

Cover is in VG+ condition. Minor shelf wear on seams but no splits. Title is fully legible. Corners are nice. Original inner sleeve with lyrics is included but a white generic die-cut one is used to protect vinyl. Please see pics.
