"Dream Police" is the fourth studio album by American rock band Cheap Trick. It was released in 1979 and was their third release in a row produced by Tom Werman. It is the band's most commercially successful studio album, going to #6 on the Billboard 200 chart and being certified platinum within a few months of its release. "Dream Police" shows the band expanding into longer, more complex songs and incorporating orchestration on several tracks. The album had been completed by early 1979, but its release was pushed back several months due to the surprise success of "Cheap Trick at Budokan". The album's title track became a Top 30 hit for the band. "Voices" was also a hit for the band, reaching #32 on the Billboard chart. "Voices" has been used twice in the soundtrack of the American sitcom "How I Met Your Mother". This is the ORIGINAL 1979 Japanese Gatefold Vinyl Pressing on the Epic Japan record label. The catalog # on the spine is: 25 3P-50. The vinyl is visually graded by Goldmine standards as Near Mint. The cover is also graded as Near Mint. Comes with ALL ORIGINAL INSERTS and SLEEVE, which is also Near Mint. I am including a small picture disc with two tracks. The disc did not come with this particular pressing, but I am including it as a "bonus" as I have never seen it before. Record will be shipped following business day as soon as payment is received. Media Mail WILL TAKE AT LEAST 3 TO 5 WEEKS DUE TO BEING SHIPPED BY BOAT, NOT AIR, from Hawaii. Priority Mail is $16 from Hawaii.
