Taylor Swift  - "EVERMORE"  Album

First Edition - Double LP on "Green" Vinyl 

(Opaque Green ??)  Read on please...........

This is a 1st Edition pressing that was purchased as a "pre-order" directly from 

Taylor Swift's USA website / webstore when Evermore was first announced. 

The first release copies that were manufactured for sale in the USA and sold 

through Taylor's website were pressed in Canada and were "opaque green" in

color.

The "not-so-fun" part for all the Taylor Swift vinyl collectors out there has been 

how to identify a sealed copy as being an opaque green copy vs a translucent 

green copy.

Form my personal experience, here's the most reliable 

way I know to tell: 

Those first USA pressings (opaque green) were sold exclusively through Taylor's 

webstore and had MADE IN CANADA "machine stamped" on the back of the album 

jacket, at top center, in a small "dot matrix" looking sort of font,  right on the shrink 

wrap. (see photos). 

Since I pre-ordered all my copies directly from Taylor's website, all my copies are

first editions!  I did open one of them and it was in fact an opaque green version. 

I no longer have that copy as I traded it to a collector for a MOFI One Step LP that I 

had been longing for. So, unfortunately, I don't have a photo to post with this 

auction to confirm the color for you.  I can only state that I have a few sealed first 

edition copies left, and one copy from the original batch I bought directly from Taylor 

Swift's online webstore (and the only one of the batch that ever I opened) was in fact 

an opaque green version.  

To the best of my knowledge, there was no MADE IN CANADA "STICKER" ever applied 

to the back of any 1ST EDITION "Evermore" LP,  there was only the machine stamped 

text. 

Second edition (and latter) Canadian pressings made for the USA did however have a 

MADE IN CANADA "STICKER" applied to the back of the jacket at the bottom (again, 

see photos) 

The 2nd edition (and latter) Canadian pressings were "translucent green" in color. 

(although some Swifties have reported on various online forums about getting lucky 

with some "stickered" copies  were both discs were either totally opaque or, a "mix"

 with one of one of the 2 discs being opaque green while the other was translucent green).

However, I have never seen any copies (or report of copies) with the "machine stamp" AND 

the sticker on the back cover of the album at the same time (hence some of the confusion 

& frustration in confidently identifying an opaque version). Regardless, the vast majority 

of the USA pressings that were manufactured in Canada (after the 1st edition press run) 

were translucent green. 

It should be noted that France also produced later edition press runs for the USA Market. 

(I assume due to demand and limited pressing plant capacity around the world) 

Those copies had a MADE IN FRANCE sticker applied to the back cover of the 

album jacket. France did produce opaque and translucent green copies (but for 

sealed copies that came out of France, I couldn't begin to tell you how to tell 

whether the album jacket contains opaque green or translucent green discs.)

And lastly, there were also some latter pressings made for the US market that came 

out of the Czech Republic, but only on translucent green vinyl.  These pressings also 

have a sticker affixed to the back of the album jacket that reads MADE IN THE CZECH 

REPUBLIC.  

I am mentioning all of the above because I WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OF THIS 

ITEM FOR A-N-Y  REASON ! 

Why? Well, simply because there are reports of unscrupulous buyers out there 

who will swap out discs and then put a request in to Ebay for a return or refund 

for product that was "not as described".  

So, I am stating that this auction is definitively for a "GREEN" colored Taylor Swift 

"Evermore" vinyl LP.  I am NOT stating that is it "Opaque" nor that it is "Translucent"

but there is a very good possibility that it is opaque green since it came from the same 

original batch pre-ordered / purchased from Taylor's webstore.  

You'll need to do your own due diligence to decide if you want to purchase this 

"GREEN" Vinyl LP from me. I will not break the seal on the remaining 1st edition 

copies of this album that I still have solely to take a photo (knowing that the one 

copy that I did open when I first got them directly from Taylor Swift's webstore was 

in fact "opaque green" in color) so please don't ask..... 

Please note that variations in the manufacturing process could yield variations in the 

resultant color and hue of any singular disc.  Keep this in mind if considering purchasing 

this particular copy. 

Again, there will absolutely NO returns of this item. 

You will get the exact item shown in the SINGULAR album jacket image photos 

( Please take note I have included 1 photo that depicts the back cover of both a 

1st and 2nd edition copy so that you can see the difference. 

Neither copy in that one dual image shot is the copy you will receive. The copy 

you will receive is the exact one pictured in all of the "single" album images photos)
