The Beatles, Love Me Do / P.S. I Love You, 1st press (UK red Parlophone 1962)

British Parlophone 45-R 4949, released October 1962. No "MADE IN GT BRITAIN," Lennon - McCartney credits not centered (right-aligned with title), missing closing paren on B-side; Hayes pressing (first mother, 14th and 12th stampers), PT stamped in B-side dink, PZT tax codes in dead wax indicate this disc was pressed in Nov - Dec 1962. Ringo is on drums (no tambourine). Disc: VG: labels beautiful, appear flawless, dink intact, marred only by some spindle burn; vinyl has good lustre, has a number of superficial hairlines; A-side has 1/8" x 1/4" burr but seems well cared-for. Runout stamps: 7XCE 17144-1N  GM PZT 1   /   7XCE 17145-1N  GR   PZT 1   Parlophone stock "Beach Towel" sleeve, VG++: all edges and corners sharp, no tears, woc: 1/4" x 1" number "4689" (catalog number for Adam Faith's top-five hit, "How About That!," 1960); some disc impression, ligh wrinkling, 1/32" dog-ear on one upper corner.

Photos are always of actual item offered. All items are visually graded under a bright light by strict Goldmine standards. M- is my highest grade, and is applied to New Old Stock, as I had direct access to the contents of manufacturers' cartons from the mid-1970s onward. I have been a vinyl collector since 1964 and appreciate honest, conservative, and fair product descriptions. Smoke-free home.

Vinyl 45s are shipped separately from any picture sleeves or printed stock sleeves, and encased in protective polypropylene sleeves and extra recycled board.

All orders will be shipped within two to four business days of payment; please allow one to three weeks for domestic arrival.

In the unlikely event that an item needs to be returned, buyer must contact seller first; buyer pays return postage and any applicable sales, VAT, or GST taxes.

Seller reserves the right to cancel any orders with outstanding balances after seven calendar days if buyer is not in communication with seller.
