THE RUMOR - "(At Last)": This is an original U.S. pressing of this rare private-press LP originally released on the Universal Music Artists label in--I'm guessing, judging by the musical style/sounds and the band's choice of cover versions within, as well as the clothing & hair styles in the back-cover photo(check it all out in the photo I've posted)--the early 1970's. And Corky Blake and Mike Zikovich are two of the band members on this LP.
This is a mixed-bag o' sounds, with both female and male vocals(and instrumentals with organ & sax, too)...do you like/are you searching for jazz/funk-soul/R&B/bossa nova/loungey sounds with touches of pop/rock/Latin/samba/dance? What about samples, beats, and breaks? Besides the vocals, there's organ, electric piano, alto & tenor saxes, guitar, congas, trumpet, vibes, bass, flute, drums, and percussion; a cookin' Rare Earth medley with organ, flute, & guitar; a cookin' "Proud Mary" with organ; "Watermelon Man"...for the complete song listing--as well as all of the other info-- see the picture of the back cover that I've posted above.
There is slight ring wear at the top & bottom on the cover, and a thumbnail-size tear on the front cover near the upper right corner.
According to my grading scale, the cover is graded visually and the disc is graded both audibly & visually as follows:
COVER: 6
DISC: 4 I grade my records in a darkened room illuminated only by a single light bulb inches away from the cover &
disc, which are then very carefully examined & scrutinized from multiple angles in order to best detect any and
all flaws.
Here's my 10-point grading scale, which I use to grade covers(where applicable) & discs VISUALLY and which
shouldn't be confused with or compared to any other grading scale, since I developed it independently of other
grading scales:
1 - A factory-sealed record that has never been opened & never been played. The cover & disc are like new.
2 - A record that was factory-sealed when I opened it to inspect it visually but did not play it. The cover &
disc are like new and unplayed.
3 - The cover & disc are presumed to be unused/unplayed/like new. To clarify, here are some examples(this is
not necessarily a complete listing): In the U.S.A., 7" records were typically not factory-sealed. And of
course, record companies in some other countries typically did not factory-seal their LP's. Also, I stock
records by some U.S. record labels that sell reissues exclusively and do not factory-seal their records.
Also, I was involved with the radio industry for decades, and it was very common for record labels to send
promotional copies of LP's that had not been factory-sealed to radio stations. And, at various times over
the years, I found years-old warehouse stock of quantities of promotional LP's(sometimes, several copies
of the same LP) that probabaly had never been factory-sealed, with vinyl that looked untouched/like new.
4 - Nearly new; the cover and/or disc show only slight signs of use; played very little.
5 - The cover and/or disc are in excellent condition(meaning the exact literal dictionary definition of the
word), and should please everyone except those who want only records that are in new or like-new
condition. The cover and/or disc have little wear; any imperfections should affect the sound quality only
in a minor way.
6 - Played often; visible wear and/or light surface marks or scuffs; maybe a passing bit of insignificant
surface or background noise in spots. The cover looks satisfying, despite some wear.
7 - Obviously played a lot. Surface marks & pops/crackles, and/or light-to-moderate surface or back-ground
noise, which will be heard mainly between songs & during any soft parts; otherwise, the music should be
heard above such defects & the vinyl should play well enough to enjoy, with no major defects(unless you
really dislike such defects). The cover is noticeably worn.
8 - Bad condition; very worn; many heavier scuffs and/or scratches; while the record is playable, pops &
crackles and/or background or surface noise will dominate throughout.
9 - While still playable, the record may be unlistenable(at least if you want to enjoy it at all).
10 - Unplayable.

that day is not always the same--so depending on which day of the week I receive payments, I may not mail
records until the end of the week FOLLOWING the week in which I receive payment):

additional 1 or 2 records shipped in the same mailer. Priority Mail, etc. is available...
just tell me what you'd like to pay for. AIR MAIL POSTAGE & PACKAGING COSTS TO: CANADA: $24 for one or two 12" records shipped in the same mailer.

(registration, etc.). In any case, tell me your preferred shipping method. Packages sent to countries other
than the U.S.A. may be assessed customs fees by those countries; if you want to know if your country assesses
such fees--and if so, what those fees are--contact your country's customs officials.
