For your consideration is a lot of 11 classical records from the audiophile Telarc record label. These are all top-quality pressings! They belonged to a local diehard audiophile who had a massive collection of equipment and Lp’s. 3 of the records appear to still be sealed. The rest have been played but very lightly and with some very high-end equipment.
The only record that shows any real surface wear worth mentioning is one of the 1812 Overture copies. That is probably why he owned the additional, cleaner copy. Even that record, although it has a visible surface blemish (shown in the close-up photo) still plays fine. My turntable played through the blemish with only a mild audible “tick” that is not too distracting and lasted less than a minute.
The sleeves of the records show normal signs of light wear from handling. They were stored in a clean, dry environment and are not musty. Again, all of the vinyl surfaces are very clean with the exception of the one copy of 1812.
Please examine all the photos for a good visual description. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for looking!
