Up for BID! - a very nice rare copy of "It's My Thing" by Marva Whitney from the 1969 Original Press.  This 12" Funk/Soul Vinyl Record features James Brown and is A James Brown Production.

Label: King Records ‎– KSD 1062, ‎– KS-1062.

Format: Vinyl, LP, Album, Stereo.

Plays VG+ both sides with the dead wax/fades producing some surface static and light pops/crackles.  This is overwhelmed, however, by the very strong sound of the vocals and music once tracks begin.  Media itself is practically free of scratches to the naked eye, but we grade it VG+ as well due to a few light paper scuffs, a minor abrasion, a little groove wear, and some dust accumulation.  A good ultrasonic, which it has not had, would probably clear up the play a bit.

Label on both sides (represented best by the darker orange color in the pictures) are in great shape with no writing and only slight rub/wear.

Cover sleeve, though in the original shrink wrap, has its problems, first among them being water damage and discoloration on the back.  It is in good structural condition, no seam splits, intact legible spine with strong cardboard, but it is dirty.  The front side of the cover is in much better shape than the back so, even with the punch hole seen here in the top right, we give the covers a combined score of G+.

It will ship with the original interior sleeve (with punch hole, water damage, and some tears) inside the cover, but the record itself will be packed separately in a new, clean generic white sleeve.
