One of twelve novelty miniature 78rpm records listed today, including an advertising piece for Huntley & Palmer’s biscuits and ten Tuck’s Gramophone Record Postcards. They are listed in different categories, so do follow the link to my other auctions and  consider saving shipping costs by buying more than one.

This miniature 3.5” 78rpm disc is a promotional record advertising dance band leader Jack Payne’s new exclusive contract with Imperial Records which began in 1932.  On the first side “Jack Payne Himself” (C, 123-3) he introduces himself and gives a brief speech, then on the other side “Say it with Music” (C,124-2) he introduces his signature tune by Irving Berlin. I have not played the record but it appears to be in good condition. The tracks can be heard in a number of places on YouTube.

The maximum possible level of insurance on items sent overseas with Royal Mail is £250.  If the total value of contents exceeds this figure then you will have to accept the risk of sending the item(s), or choose an alternative courier.
