For auction is a good listeners copy of Forever Changes by American psychedelic rock band, Love. Their third studio album released in November 1967. Although not a big commercial success, only peaking at #154 on the US Billboard 200, Forever Changes was revered by critics upon its release. The album’s acclaim has only grown with time and it is now considered a classic and one of the best records ever. In 2002, members of the British Parliament, praised the album as one of the greatest ever. In the US, it was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2008 and the Library of Congress added it to the National Recording Registry for preservation in 2011. It has earned its way on most lists of the best albums ever. In 2020 it was ranked #180 on Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. This copy is a a 1st Allentown Pressing.


Vinyl is play graded VG-. Many visible surface marks but nothing deep that can be felt. Plays with consistent background noise of various degrees that is not overwhelming but noticeable. No skips or jumps. Please see pics.


Cover is in VG condition. Minor shelf wear on corners and seams but no splits. Title is perfectly legible. A two inch crease is on front on right side next to stain. Another one is on back lower right side. Ring wear and stains on both sides . Original Elektra inner is included but a generic white die-cut one is used to protect vinyl. Please see pics.
