Daft Punk Discovery 2014 US Reissue 2xLP Gatefold w/OG Inner Sleeves EX/VG+.

For auction is an excellent listeners copy of Discovery by French electronic music duo, Daft Punk. Their second studio album released in March 2001 was the commercial and critical breakthrough. It charted internationally in 22 countries and peaked in the Top-20 in all but the US where it peaked at #23 on the Billboard 200. Discovery is a concept album about Daft Punks childhood memories. It’s inspired by the idea that music should be playful and one should have an open mind about it and not judge it. Similar to an innocent child. Six singles were released and all had international charting success. The biggest hit was, “One More Time” that only peaked in the US at #61 on the Billboard Hot 100 but reached #2 on the Dance Singles Sales chart and #1 on the Dance Club Songs chart. Other classics included on the album are, “Aerodynamic”, “Digital Love”, “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger”, Face To Face” and “Something About Us”. Discovery is now considered a pioneering record in the house music genre and is often cited on best of lists. In 2020 it ranked #236 on Rolling Stone’s list of “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. This copy is a 2014 US reissue on 2 LPs.

Vinyl is play graded EX. Each record a couple of barely visible surface marks. Plays with faint background noise if any. No skips or jumps. Please see pics.
