2-Tone single TT#07 features The Specials performing "Too Much Too Young" and "Guns of Navarone" on the A side with "Longshot Kick the Bucket", "Liquidator", "Skinhead Moonstomp"... AKA The Skinhead Symphony on the B Side. All tracks recorded live in late 1979 or early 1980.
The Specials were the flagship band of 2-Tone, and this record captures the excitement of their live shows while they were surging in popularity. You can feel the fun listening to it.
This single was released in 1980, and is the second one to bear the catalog number TT07. The other record with TT07 is the ultra-rare Elvis Costello 2-Tone pressing of "I Can't Stand Up for Falling Down", which I am also selling.
This Specials Live EP comes with the original crowd photo cardboard sleeve. I collected all of the 2-Tone singles in the 90s, but now I have decided it's time to share them with other fans that love this music as much as I do.
