Well it really doesn't get much bigger than this. 2007's answer to Skream's Midnight request line, Benga and Coki's 'Night' finally gets the full release from Tempa, although we can never really tell quite why it takes so long for these tried and tested anthems to reach us proles down here on the shop floor. Basically this is THE big tune wrecking every and any club worth it's system at the moment, with scene leaders Benga and Coki combining their awesome talents to form the catchiest riff you've heard all year. Obviously drawing inspiration from the nascent bassline and funky sounds currently ruling the London scene, the dynamic duo leave behind the sluggish halfstep format and roll out good and proper, causing much crossover success and cementing their reputation with a far wider audience. The fun doesn't stop with the A-side though, 'Drumz west' on the flip is another class Benga banger with full play out potential, even 'emotion' on the flip further shows the guys at the top of their game, with Coki laying solid foundations for Benga's jazzmatical riffage to take flight, rounding out a competely essential little package...
