Baron Elmo proudly presents a stunning vinyl compilation of head-spinning experimental, industrial and justplainbizarre music, most of it extremely rare: The Fight is On, a long-unavailable LP released in 1985 by the Laylah label, mainly consisting of deliciously weird recordings from various corners and crevices of the UK avant-underground. No real need to describe the goings-on here... a mere list of the artists involved should be enough to whet your appetite. Those interested in dark, envelope-pushing sounds that are sure to creep out the Normals in your vicinity should stop their dollars right here. The Fight is On has been unavailable more or less since its release nearly three decades ago. Most of these tracks have never made it to CD – only the Coil and Nurse with Wound pieces, both on discs that are now out of of print. The LP shows slight wear (mild inner sleeve scuffing) but plays beautifully, and the cover is in excellent shape.
We will combine multiple purchases, so the more you buy, the more you save on shipping. Thanks for the visit – please check out our eBay store to see the other fine items we carry!
