This auction is for a limited edition 7" single of Pearl Jam's "Last Kiss." This version was only released as a special promo to fan club members back in December of 1998. This version is different from the red vinyl version commercially released later on, The A side of the release contains the cut "Last Kiss," a cover of a song by in 1961 and later made popular by when it was covered by them in 1964. After having found a 45 of the song at a local antique mall, Eddie Vedder fell in love with the song and convinced the band to record this version of the song. The B side to this single is a cover of "Soldier of Love (Lay Down Your Arms)" written by and Tony Moon in 1962 but made popular by The Beatles who performed a live version of the song for the BBC in 1963.
The record has never been played to my knowledge but does have two small scratches on the B side that happened while in storage. The scratches in question should not have any effect on the playability of the record. The jacket itself is in decent condition, no fading or real visible defects. I am by no means a professional grader but I would wager that this 7" would easily rank a very good + to very good grade.
