Just currently going through a small pile of Rolling Stones I also have in my collection. Next week will be back to all Beatles!

This auction is for a rare, original mono pressing of the Rolling Stones' LP 'Between the Buttons'.

In 1967 mono was fast becoming an obsolete format and, by this time, stereo copies were starting to outsell their mono counterparts. This was because stereo albums came down in price to match mono and stereo record players become much more affordable and were no longer a luxury item. Because of this, less and less people were buying stereo and, by 1967, mono was the minority. Because of this, mono copies are harder to find than stereo.

The cover is looking okay, but is showing its age! The front cover is looking pretty good. It has a little dirt buildup on the laminate and some light disc impression. there's creasing around the corners and in the edges and there's a cellotape mark along the top seam. Top and bottom seams are holding okay with minimal wear and no tears or splitting. Spine is a little flat but is predominantly unworn with just a small paper split in the middle about an inch long. There are a couple of laminate creases running through it but there's no splitting and all the text is fully legible. The back cover has yellowed quite noticeable and has browned a little down the mouth edge and spine edge. There's light disc impression and a cellotape mark along the top.   Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : GOOD-

The playing surface is looking a little tired and has a fair amount of light scuffs, marks and surface scratches along with a few slightly heavier looking marks On side 1 at 10 o'clock there's a small scratch at the end of the final track that's small but feelable under the fingernail..

The labels are looking nice with a nice, rich red colour and bright, silver text. There's some light spindlewear and a little wear around the centrehole.
