This auction is for a rare, original mono copy of the Beatles LP 'Rubber Soul' on the yellow / black Parlophone label.

This is a truly beautiful copy and is by far the best condition copy of this LP I've ever seen! You couldn't tell by looking at it that it was nearly 50 years old! Check out the detailed condition description below and look at the photos to see what this album is like! The vast majorities of copies that turn up are completely trashed and played into the ground. It's very hard to find copies in a decent, respectible condition like this!

The cover is looking absolutely beautiful with only the slightest hints that this album is nearly 50 years old! The front has a beautiful, rich colour to it and a gorgeously clean laminate with zero dirt buildup It's shining brightly and looks awesome! There's the lightest hint of disc impression at the top and bottom and a couple of little laminate creases arouned the edges. The mouth edge is sharp with just a touch of wear on the edge and the corners have just begun to round a little. Top and bottom seams are holding tight with no splitting or wear whatsoever. the spine is predominantly uncrushed bare the middle and the pinched edges and has zero wear or splitting with fully legible spine text. The back is beautifully clean with cream overflaps and a pale, unworn back. The lack of laminate on the back meant that it was really prone to wear and stain buildup, but this is looking near immaculate with just a very light browning down the mouth edge. The rest is top with no wear, marks, stains or anything! The bottom left has some light creasing - I've tried to show this in a photo above. Check out the photos!   Inner Sleeve: EX+

The original tissue paper Emitex inner is included. It has a pale cream colour and is predominantly flat bar some light creasing in the four corners as you can see in the photo above. There's just a touch of wear at the top and the tisdsue inner is still stuck tight with no damage that I can see!   Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : VG+/EX-

The playing surface has a really nice, crisp shine to it. On side 1 there's a fair amount of very light, faint scuffing that I can only really see under my desk lamp. On side 2 there's hardly any light, faunt scuffing, and I can't see anything heavier on either side. Nice vinyl!!

The labels are clean with sharp, bright silver text! Both labels just have a few light, spidery spindlemarks and just a touch of whitening around the centrehole. Top labels!.
