Just a little note about rare Indian classical vinyl records in India:
You may know already if you are one of our clients but I beleive we have been the first 'serious' seller of Indian classical records on eBay, having started more than 10 years ago.
This is a labor of love for us. It's not just a trade as we also collect these and we're in love with the music. We also take pride in our service, always trying to offer the best available item possible for the most affordable prices. Plus our no-nonsense refund/change policy has always been on the buyers side.
Since we never saw this venture as a way of making big profits, there were many times when we started auctions on lower prices than what we paid for them, taking big risks commercially... But things change... and change has certainly hit India hard in the recent years. Two facts about the current state of affairs about the Indian record market: a) Competition for finding the rare and interesting vinyl from within India by an avalanchingly growing number of new local Indian collectors have started, very drastically and b) now, Indian records of any kind are not coming up as much as they do from houses or warehouses and when the demand from within India as we said earlier has risen so high, the prices for vinyl records in India has reached to previously unheard of figures, especially when excellent or mint condition records are in question.
We have tried very hard to get the best quality and rare vinyl under seriously hard circumstances and your support will be very honoring. As always we claim all responsibility with our items so feel safe in buying. Good luck!
POSTAGE
For 1 LP record or a maxi single (12" size discs) it is 15 USD for everywhere except Australia and New Zealand. For the Oz land and NZ it is 20 USD. We combine postage. For consecutive LPs (up to 5 more) please add 4 USD extra wherever you are. If you win multiple items we can put all in one parcel; ask us if you are planning to buy plenty at once.
AUCTION & SALE RULES
Since we started in 2001 we always followed the same rule: if you are unhappy with an item for any reason you are welcome to return it for a full refund!
We noticed in the last couple of years that since eBay sided up with buyers rather than sellers, more people are bidding but not paying in the end, knowing they will not be punished for it by this company. If you do that we do ban you from bidding again and also happily report your action to many other reputable record dealers, so, the choice is yours.
Also, please, if there's something wrong with an order you received, please tell us first before rushing to open a complaint! It might work out much easier and sooner than you'd expect!
