This is a very rare, original pressing of the 7" single "Hand In Glove" by THE SMITHS

Issued in 1983 on the ROUGH TRADE label

The record is presented in its ORIGINAL PICTURE SLEEVE

Solid centre

Etched matrix numbers:  A1 and B1

Etched into the run-out: "KISS MY SHADES" and "KISS MY SHADES TOO"

Grooved blue paper label with"Glad Hips Music" credit

70 Portland St, Manchester M3 address on back of picture sleeve (changed to Rough Trade's London address on subsequent pressings)

The sleeve is in EX/VG condition. There are one or two slight marks on the front and a little creasing along the lower back edge (see photos), but otherwise no tears or splits.

The vinyl is in excellent condition and looks virtually unplayed. There are no discernible spindle marks on the labels.
