THE SURPRISE PACKAGE FREE UP! ORIGINAL USA 1ST PRESS - LHI RECORDS - S 12005
A great Acid Psych, Fuzz LP, with some nice feedback. Somewhat similar to the great Head Shop LP, although it is more accurate to say that Head Shop is similar to SURPRISE PACKAGE since this LP came out a year before .
CONDITION:
The vinyl: VG+, but with excellent luster, Clean. No feelable scratches, it has some very minor surface scuffs, sleeve lines (but I can’t see any spindle lines on the label!?!), The LP sounds great. When I listened at loud volume there were a few clicks on the 1st track, and an occasional click elsewhere, and a little noise between tracks (it may just need a deep cleaning), but over all disc provided very enjoyable listening. This LP was well cared for.
The labels: close to Mint- , I can’t see any spindle lines. CLEAN.
The Cover: Very Strong VG+. Original unipack gatefold Cover, with price sticker in upper right corner (No one has tried to remove sticker, so I’m sure cover is intact under sticker.). No splits , No ringwear, No shelf-wear, no writing, no bends, no corner crimps, the only issue is the glue that holds the record holder part of the cover has cleanly come loose. I did not re-glue it, I will leave that to the new owner’s choice. It’s REALLY HARD to find this Acid Rock cover in this superior condition.

New Way Home
100% Vision
Breakaway
Supporting Cast
Side II

RECORD GRADING (Usually Visual) :
FS=Original Factory Sealed. ///
New= New (or Mint) perfect in every way, record appears unplayed. ///
New- = New minus (or Mint minus), record played maybe 1 to 9 times , perhaps a few spindle lines on label, and maybe a sleeve line or two. Covers close to M, has maybe a small corner bend, maybe the very slightest of ring line caused by the record.///
VG+ = Very Good Plus, record played a little more than an m- but well cared for. Vinyl has the vast majority of its original luster, may have sleeve lines, maybe a few very lite scuffs; maybe one or two small, very light surface scratches. But not all at the same time. Cover MAY have very minor ringwear, maybe a few other flaws, a minor corner bend or two, maybe a small partial seam split; ///
VG = record has the flaws of a VG+, only more of them; may also have some small scratches that are felt with a fingernail. Vinyl is very playable and will play through, good luster. Probably some noise between tracks, maybe in quiet passages. Still, a reasonably well cared for record. /// VG- = proportionally lower than a VG.////
G = It is rare that I will even list a record in this condition; but it will be proportionally lower than a VG-.
