The Who - Lot of 15 UK original 1960's & 1970's 7" Singles

 

This is a great collection of UK original, unless stated, 1960's & 1970's 7" singles. They all come with their original company/ plain paper sleeve. The condition is generally very nice too. I have listed them individually below: 

 

1. I Can't Explain/ Bald Headed Woman (Brunswick 05926 UK 7" 1965) UK original with -1C/ -1C matrices. Comes with its original company paper sleeve. Vinyl: Mild to more moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, & two very small hairline marks. VG condition. Plays very well overall. The labels are nice & clean & show mild spindle wear. The Brunswick paper sleeve is in VG condition.

2. Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere/ Daddy Rolling Stone (Brunswick 05935 UK 7" 1965) UK original with -1C/ -1C matrices. Comes with its original company paper sleeve. Vinyl: Mild to more moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, & a few small small hairline marks. VG- condition. Plays well overall. The labels are nice & clean & show mild spindle wear. The Brunswick paper sleeve is in VG+ condition.

3. My Generation/ Shout & Shimmy (Brunswick 05944 UK 7" 1965) UK original with -3C/ -2C matrices. Comes with its original company paper sleeve. Vinyl: Mild to more moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, & a light mark. VG condition. Plays very well overall. There is a small stain on the B-side label. Otherwise the labels are nice & clean & show mild spindle wear. The Brunswick paper sleeve is in VG++ condition.

4. Substitute/ Circles (Reaction 591001 UK 7" 1966) UK original with correct "Circles" B-side label credit. This was quickly withdrawn. It has smooth Reaction labels & 1st press A-4/ B-1 matrices. Comes with its original plain paper sleeve. Vinyl: Mild to more moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. There is an area of a fair few hairline marks on the A-side. Good+ condition. Plays well but with light to mild crackle. There is a few light clicks too. The labels are clean & show mild spindle wear. The paper sleeve is in VG- condition.

5. Substitute/ Instant Party (Reaction 591001 UK 7" 1966) UK 2nd pressing. It still has the song "Circles" on the B-side but it is re-titled "Instant Party". This was also withdrawn. It has textured "Reaction" labels & original with A-1/ B-2 matrices. Comes with its original company plain paper sleeve. Vinyl: Mild to more moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, & a light mark. VG condition. Plays very well overall. The labels are clean but show mild to more moderate spindle wear. 

6. Happy Jack/ I've Been Away (Reaction 591010 UK 7" 1966) UK original with textured Reaction labels & A-8/ B-2 matrices. Comes with its original company plain paper sleeve. Vinyl: Mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. VG+ condition. Plays very well overall. The labels are nice & clean & show mild spindle wear. 

7. Pictures Of Lily/ Doctor, Doctor (Track 604002 UK 7" 1967) UK original with A-3/ B-1 matrices. Comes with its original company plain paper sleeve. Vinyl: Mild to more moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. VG+ condition. Plays very well indeed. The labels are very clean and show mild spindle wear. The paper sleeve is in VG++ condition.

8. I Can See For Miles/ Someone's Coming (Track 604011 UK 7" 1967) UK original with 1-A/ 1-B matrices. Comes with its original plain paper sleeve. Vinyl: Mild to moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. VG condition. Plays very well overall. The labels are clean and show mild spindle wear. The paper sleeve is in VG condition.

9. Dogs/ Call Me Lightning (Track 604011 UK 7" 1967) UK original with 1-A/ 1-B matrices. Comes with its original plain paper sleeve. Vinyl: Mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, & some light marks. VG condition. Plays very well overall. The labels are clean and show mild spindle wear. The paper sleeve is in VG++ condition.

10. Magic Bus/ Dr. Jekyll & Mr Hyde (Track 604024 UK 7" 1968) UK original with A-1/ B-1 matrices. It has a large centre hole. Comes with its original plain paper sleeve. Vinyl: Mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. VG+ condition. Plays very well overall. The labels are very clean. The paper sleeve is in VG+ condition.

11. Won't Get Fooled Again/ Don't Know Myself (Track 2094 009 UK 7" 1971) UK original Picture Sleeve pressing. It has a large centre hole & 1st press matrices. Sleeve: Mild rubbing wear & ringwear. There are no seam splits. VG+ condition. Vinyl: Mild to more moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. VG condition. Plays well overall. The labels are very clean.

12. The Seeker/ Here For More (Decca 32670 USA 7" 1969) USA original with 1st press matrices. It has a large centre hole & comes with its original plastic removable centre. It comes with its original company paper sleeve. Vinyl: Light sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, & some very minor pressing marks. Very NEAR EX condition. Plays Excellently. The labels are very clean but there is a tiny hole punched through them. The company paper sleeve is in VG++ condition.

13. Won't Get Fooled Again/ I Don't Even Know Myself (Decca 32846 USA 7" 1971) USA original with 1st press matrices. It has a large centre hole & comes with its original plastic removable centre. It comes with a period plain paper sleeve. Vinyl: Mild to more moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. VG+ condition. Plays very well indeed. The labels are very clean. The paper sleeve is in VG condition.

14. Squeeze Box/ Success Story (Polydor 2121 275 UK 7" 1975) UK original with A-1/ B-1 matrices. It has moulded plastic labels. It comes with its original company paper sleeve. Vinyl: Mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, & some minor pressing marks. VG+ condition. Plays very well overall. The labels are very clean. The company paper sleeve is in VG+ condition.

15. Who Are You/ Had Enough (Polydor WHO 1 UK 7" 1978) UK original Picture Sleeve pressing. It has moulded plastic labels & 1st press matrices. Sleeve: Mild rubbing wear & ringwear. There is a tiny 1 cm seam split at the bottom edge only. VG+ condition. Vinyl: Light to mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. NEAR EX condition. Plays very well overall. The labels are very clean.

 

 

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
